Barbara Louise Edwards

Barbara Louise Mankedick Conner Poletti Edwards of Charlack, Missouri, born June 17, 1950 in Berkeley, California, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Marion Mankedick, and first husband J. Bennett Conner. Surviving are her sister Diane Mankedick, second & third husbands Richard Poletti & Bernard Edwards Jr., children: Jennifer Willingham, Jason & Teresa Conner, Dyan Conner, Joshua & Victoria Poletti, Robert & Kayla Edwards, grandchildren: Cameron Glaenzer, Alexander Willingham, Rowan Conner, Liam Conner, Owen Poletti, Ezra Edwards, Nova Edwards, bonus child Avé Clay and her children. Barbara was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend.

She cherished her family, friends, and pets. She enjoyed RV travel, music, selling homes, and volunteering. She adored the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling within the U.S and abroad. If you knew Barbara, then you knew you were truly loved by someone who would move mountains at a moment’s notice to help someone in need. Barbara graduated from Huntington High School and later attended Marshall University, Ohio State University, and Washington University in St. Louis. She was a distinguished team leader at Mastercard before becoming a real estate broker/agent. She attended Bethel Lutheran Church and Grace Church.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Noon at Kriegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel, 9450 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO. A celebration of her life will take place at 2:00 p.m. for family and close friends. The celebration will be available to watch through the Funeral Home website (dignitymemorial.com). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, All Paws Rescue, or the Humane Society of Missouri.
