Stewart Jay Conboy

Stewart Jay Conboy, age 82, left us peacefully on January 9, 2017. He was born January 15, 1934 in Detroit, to the late Wesley & Ernestine (Mueller) Conboy. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Trudy, and his daughters, Kathy (Klaus) Matten, Kristyn (Brett) Letwin; 7 grandsons, Christopher, Dustin, Craig (Krystal), Doug, Michael, Timothy, Spencer; 1 granddaughter, Karissa and 2 great-grandchildren, Kevin and Kira. Stewart was preceded in death by his son, Kevin. Stu was a man of such integrity, love, strength, faith, kindness and patience. A hard working man. A man who set such a great example in his life that no one will ever be able to follow. A man who will continue to guide his children and grandchildren through their lives. A man who always stood taller and stronger than anyone we ever knew. A man with all the answers. A man with wisdom and knowledge beyond words. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 12 from 4pm - 9pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081. Donations in Stu’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
