Patrick Roy Donnellon, age 70, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2024 after an eight-year battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS). He was born in Detroit, to his late parents Bernard and Clare (DelGrego) Donnellon. Patrick met his beloved wife of over 40 years, Debra at Finney High School. After finishing high school, he continued his education with a nursing degree from Oakland University and pursued a career in hospital administration. He retired in 2016 due to his diagnosis of ALS to ensure that his remaining time was spent with those he loved the most. Patrick had a deep passion for his family, Detroit baseball, music, and the beach life.
He is survived by his wife Debra, and their 3 children Melissa Hamolli (Andi), Matthew (Kristy) and Megan Ahee (Niko) and the lights of his life, his seven grandchildren; Parker, Isabella, Avery, Ryan, Jackson, Nicholas and Mira. His 4 siblings Cathie Molitoris (Bob), Paul, the late Mark, Laurie Batchelor and loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, January 15th from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
