Norene S. Redmond

She is survived by her siblings, Thomas (Betty) Pfeifer and Kathy (Pat) Kohn. She also leaves behind six nieces and nephews.

Norene was predeceased by her parents, Thomas (Pearl) Pfeifer and brother Gary Robert Pfeifer.

Norene graduated from Wayne State University Law School with a Juris Doctorate in 1990. After graduation, she worked as an attorney. She went on became an assistant prosecutor for the city of Warren, then continued on as a prosecutor for the city of Harper Woods. She was also a city council member for the city of Eastpointe. Norene was elected as a Judge for the 81st District Court of Eastpointe and served two terms. She was an active volunteer and advocate for the Care House in Mt. Clemens and the Macomb County Domestic Violence Council, for which she was awarded the Tracey Minnella Award in 2002.
