Maureen M. Kramer-Thornton, 71, passed away July 7, 2017. She is survived by her children: Russell, Megan (Tony Romero); siblings: Larry (the late Barbara) Kramer and Mary (Brian) Reck. Maureen enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Tigers. She worked at the Detroit Police Department Headquarters in various secretarial roles from 1966-1981, and she also worked at Frank Murphy Hall of Justice in Detroit as a Judicial Secretary from 1989-2002. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the National Kidney Foundation. Visitation, Monday, July 10 from 3-9pm and funeral service Tuesday, July 11, at 10am at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
