Maryanne Elizabeth Schueren

Maryanne Elizabeth Schueren, age 91, of St. Clair Shores, passed away on September 22, 2022. She was born on May 7, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to her late parents Peter and Gertrude Smith and sister Jane (Lapinski). Maryanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bernard J. Schueren Jr.; and children: Bernard J. Schueren III “Jack”, Michael Schueren, and Christine Dippoliti "Chrissy". She is survived by her children: William (Susan) Schueren, Steven (Gay) Schueren, Patrick Schueren; grandchildren: Kelli Schueren (David Dietrich), Ashley (Jason) Edwards, Victoria Dippoliti (Bruno, Father); and great-granddaughter: Adeline Christine Edwards. Maryanne was a 1949 graduate of St. Francis de Sales, in Detroit, and a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Church in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

Maryanne was a volunteer at St. John Hospital in Detroit in her younger years, and her daughter Chrissy was a proud nurse R.N. there as well.

She enjoyed going "Up North" with the family and snowmobiling, boating on Lake St. Clair, gardening, playing house with her great-granddaughter, spending time with her family, and going out to eat with her friends. She loved her family very much.

Memorial donations in Maryanne’s honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.

An inurnment will take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd., Clinton Twp.
