McBride, Mary, 86 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; born February 20, 1926, died August 13, 2012. Born in Detroit, to Nora (Quinn) and F. J. McCarthy. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Michael, and siblings Ann, Eugene, Michael, Nora, and James. She was a generous and devoted Aunt to 17 nieces and nephews. Mary worked for IBM in Detroit for 38 years and never missed a day. She enjoyed a highball or two after a hard day at work. She was a loyal fan of all Detroit sports teams especially the Red Wings. Mary was proud of her Irish heritage and rooted for Notre Dame. Mary loved relaxing at her farm in Zurich, Ontario and was comfortable in a fast car or on a tractor. She was a true friend to all who knew her.
Visitation Thursday August 16, from 2-9pm with a funeral service at 7:30pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores.
