Janice Andrea Heasley, age 78, passed away on December 11, 2024. She was born in Rockville Centre, New York on November 20, 1946 to her late parents Andre and Doris Brault. Janice is survived by her beloved children: Jennifer (Donald) Sadowski, Thomas (Leanna) Heasley, Rev. Father Peter Heasley, Matthew (Elizabeth) Heasley; loving grandchildren: Skylar, Harper, Magnolia, John, Xavier, Susanna, June, Blayke, Zoey; great-granddaughter: Bailey; and father of her children: Thomas Heasley III.
She was a Third Order Carmelite and was very devoted to her Catholic faith praying and saying the rosary every day. Janice was an artist, gardener, an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She loved her pets and enjoyed coffee and desserts. Janice loved everyone in her life even if it was on her own terms. She was known for loving life and experiencing everything she could that it had to offer.
Visitation, Monday, December 16, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral mass, Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. (Instate 9:30 a.m.) at Assumption Grotto Church, 13770 Gratiot Ave, Detroit.
