Helen was one of the co-founders of the St. Clair Shores Figure Skaters Club, where her passion for skating and commitment to the sport touched the lives of many. In addition to her figure skating achievements, Helen enjoyed cross-country skiing and gardening, finding peace and fulfillment in nature.
A member of the Sister of Divine Mercy Prayer Group, Helen's faith was central to her life. She also loved playing euchre with friends and family, sharing her competitive spirit and joy in every game.
As a mother, Helen had a nurturing presence, always ensuring her family had healthy choices and meals prepared with love. Her cooking was cherished, and she made sure her family lived well, both in health and happiness.
Helen was a devoted wife to the late Thomas Morley before his passing in 2016; cherished mother to Tom (Kelly) Morley, Michael (Danice) Morley, Dan (Terri) Morley and Lynn (Scott) Watts; loving grandmother to Jamie (Ryan) Vollmert, Robert (Jackie) Morley, Matthew Morley, Michael (Lauri) Morley Jr., Michelle (Matthew) Ash, Mark (Lauren) Morley, Dustin (Lauren) Morley, Jessalyn (James) Balagna, Elizabeth (Brent) Scott and Timothy (Emily) Watts; dearest great-grandmother to Rori, Riley, Morgan, Matthew, Myles, Jack, Henry, Tate, Luke, Parker, Reese, Easton, Griffin, Braydon, Finn, Logan and Collins; beloved sister to the late Father Edward Scheuerman, the late Bernice, the late Estelle, the late Fred, Bob and Tom.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI 48081 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a memory sharing at 7:30 PM.
Helen will be in State at St. Joan of Arc Parish, 22412 Overlake St., St. Clair Shores, MI 48080, on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 9:30 AM until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.
Immediately following the funeral mass Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband Thomas at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
