David snd I worked together and had a very strong friendship.  I will never forget him. I loved him.

So very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. It was always a joy to see him walking down the sidewalk with his grandson running ahead of him. Thoughts and prayers for your family. You will be missed Sweetwater...

We will never forget Dave's larger than life personality. Baseball, marching band, craft show (Beef Stew!!), and Miss SCS pageants. We had a lot of fun together over the years. I can still hear him calling me "Lambda Lambda" which always made me smile and reply "Yes, Rice Balls?" So sorry to hear about this loss. Our prayers and love to you Carmine, Amanda, Aaron and Brandon. You're in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Dave will be truly missed. He was a great friend to have grown up with.

It was with very great sadness that I learned of David's passing.   My deepest heartfelt condolences to the entire Rice and Vellucci families, but in particular to   Dave & Patsy Rice, as well as Carmine.   I will always remember Dave's smile and his outgoing personality.    I know that he touched many lives in a positive way and will be greatly missed.

I had come by on the day you past, hoping to see you and Mr. Miller, I will miss you coming out of the door when I would pull up Yelling while I was in my scrubs saying," Hey Dr. Feel Good how's it going" then coming over with your warm and hilarious stories!! Dave Rice was one of the most charismatic people I've ever known. In fact, he took me to my very first concert. ZZ Top at Pine Knob back in '86. (I had the tix; he had the wheels.)
