McGhie, Dale passed away May 19, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents Linden and Edna McGhie, and his siblings, twins Norman and Nadine. He is survived by his loving wife Rika (Lannoo), daughter Anna Marie (Dan) DeSantis, three grandsons Ryan, Justin and Andrew, as well as several nieces and nephews. Dale served in the Air Force and was stationed in Thule, Greenland. He enjoyed NASCAR, going up north to his cottage, swimming, and gardening. In recent years he enjoyed watching Eagle cam's on his laptop and listening to books on tape.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Isaac Jogues, 21100 Madison, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 26. He will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
