Clauda "Sue" Chitwood, age 71, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in Royal Oak, Michigan. Sue was born in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Robert and Patricia Charleston. Cherished wife to Garry Chitwood. Loving mother to Lindsay (Zach) Weber and Katlyn (Ryan Schmidt) Chitwood. Grandmother to Brooklyn Weber. Dear sister to Barbara Wingfield. Aunt to Melissa Swieczkowski.
We remember Sue as a beacon of unwavering friendship, kindness, and love. She left an indelible mark on the hearts of all those who were fortunate to know her. Family and friends are what she cherished most and was deeply devoted to keeping those relationships close to her heart. She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader and was a role model of character and hard work.
Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, beginning with a gathering at 10:00 am, until time of service at 11:00 am, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
Visitation Friday, October 18, 2024, from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Clauda will be laid to rest in White Chapel Cemetery, 621 West Long Lake Road, Troy, Michigan 48098.
