Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in her 89th year, surrounded by her family’s love. Yvonne is predeceased by Dr. Kenneth Johnston (1999), Glenn Masterson (1975) and her sister Glenna McCaffery (1999). Yvonne leaves behind Lynn Sampson, Lesleigh Masterson, Scott (Susan) Masterson, Brent (Anne) Masterson, Gail Johnston and Laurie Johnston, grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. Yvonne was an experienced traveler. She served on medical missions, was a longtime volunteer for Community Care and Meals-on-Wheels. Yvonne was an active member at St. James Anglican Church (Merritton) for over 50 years and belonged to the ACW serving the community. We wish to express our thanks to Dr. Broski, the Dialysis unit and 3A Nephrology for their care. Thanks also to Dr. Bayley for her years of dedication looking after our mother.
The family will receive friends at the Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346) on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held in the Chapel Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 am. Cremation.
