He is survived by his devoted wife of over 51 years, Sherry; their beloved daughters, Jennifer and Brooke; sons-in-law, Jordan Boland and Jeremy Webster; and his adored grandsons, Jesse, Jax, Rhys, and Cameron. Pat will be deeply missed by his sisters, Betty, Marg (Bob), Carol (Monte), and his brother, Michael (Joanne).
Throughout their marriage, Pat and Sherry created countless memories, particularly over the last two decades of traveling the world together. A passionate fan of hockey and golf, Pat enjoyed lively coffee chats with friends and neighbors and was an avid supporter of the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs. His love for aviation was evident in his model-building hobby, and flying in a Lancaster Bomber fulfilled a lifelong dream. Saturday nights spent in Port Dalhousie with Sherry were among his favorite moments.
Above all, Pat treasured his family, embracing his role as an active papa and valuing his friendships. He thrived on meaningful conversations and genuine connections, always seeking laughter and joy. Even while facing the challenges of cancer, his greatest wish was to be surrounded by loved ones, sharing happiness and creating lasting memories. For Pat, it was the simple pleasures in life that brought him the most joy, and his legacy will live on forever.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the Port Dalhousie Legion. We invite you to come and share your favourite memories with his family on Thursday, December 19th, from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
