Nicole Marie (Plante) Demers

August 16, 1945 - October 27, 2020

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and mémère, Nicole, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the age of 75, after a short battle with cancer. She is now reunited with her loving husband Adrien (2019), married for 56 years. Devoted mother to Dan (Kristine), Melanie (Eric) Labonte and Andrew (Jessica). Cherished mémère to Nathalie, Sarah, Chantel, Mason, Jordan and Jacob. Nicole is survived by her siblings Jean-Guy, Gilles, Ghislain, and Daniel. Nicole will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Nicole was an active member of Les Filles d’Isabelle, Cercle Immaculée-Conception and leaves behind many friends. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

In keeping with Nicole’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. She will join her husband at Victoria Lawn Cemetary in St. Catharines Ontario (Queenston Courtyard Columbarium). A memorial service will be held at Paroisse Immaculee Conception at a later date.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses and especially the care workers of the Niagara Region for the care and compassion they showed Nicole through her recent health issues. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
