Edgar Mand of St Catharines , a proud Estonian- Canadian was over 100 years old, when he passed away peacefully at the Ehatare Estonian Senior Resident on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Dorrit Mand. Dear father to 4 sons, Andres, Lenard (predeceased), Alf and Erik, generous and loving father-in-law to Wendy, Debbie, Terri and Paulis. A proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and sixteen plus one more on the way, great grandchildren. Anyone who knew or met Edgar knew he faced life with enthusiasm, a smile and a positive outlook, instilling that attitude to his children. He had several great passions in a life well lived; his loving wife, family, gardening and faith.
Following Edgar’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the incredible staff at Ehatare for their loving care during his last weeks.
