Predeceased by Jack, her husband of 69 years. Dear mother of Linda Hamilton and Allan Tye. Devoted grandmother of Ty (Tomiko), Leah (Harris), Emily (Wyatt), and Tristan (Michelle). Great grandmother of Chizuko, Matsu, Delilah, Rae, and Felix. Predeceased by her sister Eileen Pollington and her daughter-in-law Judy Tye.
Doris worked for many years as a secretary, including at the Ontario Tender Fruit Marketing Board. Upon retiring, Doris and Jack enjoyed travelling the world. For the last ten years, Doris lived at the Royal Henley Retirement Residence in St. Catharines.
In lieu of a funeral, a gathering to celebrate Doris’s life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines.
If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Doris’s memory.
