My deepest sympathy to Berthas family. I lived across the hall from Bertha for many years and got to know her quite well. She was a feisty lady, said it the way it was and tried to enjoy life to the fullest. I truly admired her passion for independence and life.    Cathy Andersen

Sybil, Jeannie, Vanessa, Todd, Tara and families, just found out of Bertha's passing and would like to extend our sympathy.  Although we haven't seen Birtha for a few years her vibrant presence during the time we were in her company is remembered. She had a full and complete life and leaves behind a family which will keep her alive in their hearts amd memories. Once again sorry for your loss.

You will be missed by so many, not just your beautiful and strong daughters,  my cousin's and extended family, but by so many that you touched with your wit, sass and larger than life personality.  I am so grateful for my memories.  You were our matriarch, the one that made sure our compasses all pointed north. Thank you for loving us and making us all feel special. You were an extraordinary woman and it is with very hearts that we must say goodbye.  For now.
