Roberta "Bert" Louise Lademacher

Bert was born on July 10, 1943 and was the ninth of 11 children born to Harry C. and Louise M. (Nee: Kramer) Hei, who have preceded her in death along with her husband, Richard, and her siblings: Charles Hei (Lois), Mary Lou Mirgaux (Ross), Adele Jones, Dorothy Roeper (Steven), Henrietta Snavely (Marshall), Agnes DiGiralamo (Anthony), William Hei (Phyllis-survives), Anthony Hei (Judy-survives), Dolores Hei. Bert is survived by her step-son, Tommy, her sister, Cecilia, and several nieces and nephews.

Bert worked many years in a garden center where she utilized the knowledge, she acquired at a young age helping with the family garden. She was also quite crafty and enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching to make Christmas ornaments and many other gifts for family and friends.

Bert loved spending time with her family at the annual picnic, and with her beloved dog, Sophie.

She also enjoyed the many years spent with her dearest friend, Ruby Jelinek, who was more like a daughter to her.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

A Memorial Gathering is being planned for Monday, February 19, from 12:30-2:30, at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, with urn burial following at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Please check back later for updates.
