Renate M. Nolting, age 76, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Renate was born July 27, 1946, in Heidelberg, Germany, to Willi and Charlotte (nee: Keller) Stroh. They have preceded her in death, as have her husbands Norman Nolting and Lawrence Schellert, and her siblings: Wolfgang, Giesela, and Birgit. Renate is survived by: her children: Christina Hocking (Jack), Lawrence Schellert, Norman Nolting, Jr. (Patricia); and her grandchildren: Laura Hocking, Robert Linebaugh.
Renate loved her family, and enjoyed spending time with them - one of her favorite activities was shopping with her granddaughter Laura. She enjoyed travelling with Norman and other family members. Being true to her German heritage, she had a stubborn streak, as well as good taste in beer and music. Renate had a very active, broad sense of humor that gave her family much enjoyment.
