Naomi was a spirited soul whose love for dancing, playing the piano, and harmonica brought joy to those around her. Her greatest delight was spending cherished moments with her beloved family, a testament to her nurturing spirit and boundless love.
Naomi graduated high school in 1953. After working in the banking and retail industry for a short time, she began her career at McDonnell Douglas Corporation in 1967 as an inspector. She worked on many products including the DC10, F4, F-15, F/A18 and others. Her nickname at the company was Red. She left McDonnell Douglas Corporation in 1980 to become a business partner for a grocery/gas station in Wayne County Missouri. She returned to McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Company in 1983 as a Tool and Parts Control Specialist. Over the course of her career, she was the recipient of many cost saving achievement awards including being entered into the Who's Who in Cost Reduction Book. Her devotion and commitment to the company was unwavering. She retired as a Production Planner in 1998.
Naomi is preceded in death by her father, Hulie Crews, and her mother, Bertha Crews; her devoted husband, Joe Trammel, and her former husband, Albert J. Morgan, and her great-grandson, Elijah. She is also preceded by her siblings: Hulie Jr., Gwendolyn, Marcrea, Matt, Charles, Marvin, Juniora, Ray and Chester.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter, Katherine (Terry) Moorman; her sons, Richard (Kathy) Morgan, Thomas (Jean) Morgan, Roger Morgan, and James (Lisa) Morgan. She also leaves behind her stepchildren; David, Debbie, and Chris. Naomi's legacy lives on through her 15 grandchildren; Rebecca, Christine, Wendy, Amanda, Kelly, Erica, Thomas Jr., Timothy, Jessica, Kelly, Melissa, Melanie, James Jr., Ana, and Trinity and 23 great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.
Naomi will be dearly missed by her family and friends, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Her grace and warmth touched many lives, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A visitation will be held in Naomi’s honor on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd, St. Ann, MO 63074. A service will occur immediately after at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd, St. Ann, MO 63074.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Naomi’s honor to Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.
