Lynne Nadeau (nee Seiter), 67, of St. Peters, MO passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Violet (nee Sumner) Seiter and is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Gary; her son, Ronald A. Adams II and children, Heather (Rick) House, Peter (Merrilee) Nadeau, and Hope Payne; grandchildren, Ronald Adams II, Peter, James, and Luke Nadeau, and Charles, Ashley, Nick, and Ricky House; her sister, Sharyn (Robert) Duffin; nieces and nephews, Jackie Duffin, Lori (Bill) Adams, Colleen Haley, and Mike (Alyce) Duffin; great nieces and nephews, Audri and Nonni Adams, Savanna Scherb, Michael Haley, and Maura Duffin; special friends, Caryl & Karlyn Kastendick; and extended family and friends.
Lynne was a talented and award-winning landscape and multi-media artist. She began working at McDonnell-Douglas in 1969 and was one of a handful of people on the cutting edge of technology in the 1980’s. She was part of a small group who was responsible for automating technical publications and was the first woman in her department to be awarded the Teammate of Distinction award presented by Irv Burrows (F-15 test pilot). Lynne was not only an incredibly intelligent woman but loved having fun too! She was a “garage sale queen” who loved a bargain and never paid too much for anything. She was very proud of her multiple collections—especially her “swanky swigs” which are decorative drinking glasses from the 1940’s. Lynne loved to play Scrabble, tending to her flower garden, and watching the fish swim in her fish tanks. When Lynne was into something, she went in with both feet and didn’t stop until the task was mastered! She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Lynne’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann. Service on Friday, February 19 at 9:15 a.m. with interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Expressions of condolence may be offered at www.alexanderstlouis.com. Memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
