Edwin Joseph "Slim" or "Eddie" Vogelsang III, age 74, of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. He was born October 23, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to Edwin Jr. and Vyonne (nee: Gralow) Vogelsang. They have preceded him in death. He is survived by: three sons: Jason (Kimberly) Vogelsang, Joseph (Michelle) Vogelsang, Jeremy (the late Jennifer) Vogelsang; his grandchildren: Tyler, Kristopher, Brookelyn, Keagan, Katelyn (Grant), Natalee; his siblings: the late Larry, Brent (Marcie), Ronald, Steven, David (Kathy), Keith, Paul (the late Donna); nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts.
Eddie graduated from Pattonville High School. He enjoyed auto racing and working on cars - he attended the Indy 500 with his brothers several times. Eddie loved family barbeques, gatherings, and reunions. He enjoyed outdoor life, including camping, fishing and hunting, and going to car shows. He enjoyed bowling. Later in life he was content to watch old television show reruns.
