I am absolutely heartbroken to know I will never see your smile or feel the warmth of your hugs again. Our childhood antics will always remain with me. 
Your voice has been silenced, but your laughter resonates in my memories.
 My dear childhood friend…. 62 years of loving you…. Is not enough.

I'm an RN who worked with Debby at the John Cochran primary care clinic at the VA.  Debby had a heart as big as Texas, and you always felt "cared for" and "cared about" when you were around her.   She always did her very best not only for the veterans, but for her co-workers.  What a beautiful soul she had.  My husband and I are planning to be at her celebration tonight, and we will make a donation to BJC Hospice in her memory.

Debbie always started earlier than her shift and helped set her co-workers equipment as well. She had a ready smile and warm hug available any time. I will miss you my darling "Big Mama." You are a treasure forever!

I worked with Deb in the PC clinic at the 
JC VAMC. She was one of the most caring and dedicated nurses  that I had the pleasure of working with.
"The Lord loves a cheerful giver." Deb was definitely a cheerful giver and the most generous person ever! She loved giving gifts and sending cards. She gave freely of her self and her time  to patients and her fellow employees.  She had a great sense of humor and we shared many laughs. She was proud of her daughter and grandsons and spoke of them often.  
Deb was an angel in life and now she's an angel in heaven.  Rest In Peace. Love and miss you Sis! 

Debra I'm really going to miss you. When we first met she was wild and full of life.  She had a giving spirit and a heart full of love.  She also was very funny.  My condolence go out to her entire family and friends for she was truly a treasure.

My sincerest condolences to Debbie's family. She was such a sweetheart and good friend to everyone. She would come visit us at the VA after she retired just to say Hi and see how everyone was doing. I will certainly miss her warmth and her smile. Such a joy to be around. 

I had the pleasure of working closely with Debby aka Big Momma at the VA.  We became friends fast.  I will always remember her smile and dedication to the Veterans and everyone else around her.  She was so dedicated with her card sending !!  Debby always made me want to be a better person.  Until we meet again my friend ! 

I worked at the ST. Louis VAMC with Nurse Hill.  She was a wonderful nurse and so sweet!!  Everyone loved her!!  She always was so kind, thoughtful and thinking about others.  Sending my condolences and prayers for her surviving family members.   

I know you are in heaven my dear friend Debby.  As I always told her she was the best nurse ever.  She would say "best in the Midwest" which I would respond by saying "best in the universe".  The most loving, caring, generous person 
who was loved by many.  She was always there for me though out my life and helpful to all my family the last 40 years.  You will be missed and thought of always, forever in my heart.
