Curtis Dennison, age 85, of Hazelwood, Missouri passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born March 4, 1939, to Leon and Elizabeth (nee: Cutter) Dennison. They have preceded him in death (his mother on the same day), as have his siblings: Lydia, Linda, Lois, Jane, and Lee. Curtis is survived by: his wife Margaret of 57 years; his children: Donna (Allen) Hopkins, Damon (Kiersten) Dennison, Jason (Shannon) Dennison, Jonathan (Dawn) Dennison, Amy (Eric) Cooper; his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters: Susan (the late Billy) Flagg, Christine (the late Dick) Travelstead; and other relatives and friends.
Curtis proudly served 20 years in the United States Navy, serving in Vietnam, and serving most recently as a company recruit commander. He built model ships as a hobby. He enjoyed sketching, and gardening, especially planting flowers and trees. He enjoyed being the family "collector" and "giver". Curtis was also the family storyteller, especially regaling grandchildren with Navy and travel stories. He enjoyed technology and was a "computer nerd".
