On December 7, 2016, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Loving husband of Violet Lear; devoted father of David Lear and Michael Ann Beissner. He is also survived by his grandchildren, John Lear, Megan Beissner and Adam Beissner. A memorial visitation will be held at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society.
