Frank Joseph Lenart Jr. is survived by his wife, Huong Lenart, and children, Frank J. Lenart III, Rose A. Lenart, and Joanne (Thanh) N. Varga.
Frank Joseph Lenart Jr. was born on September 15, 1946, in Phoenixville, PA to Frank Joseph Lenart Sr. and Margaret Ann Harrington. He graduated from Penn State University, Central Michigan, and Saint Mary’s University with a bachelor's in Agriculture Economics and a master's degree in Business Administration. He married Huong Thi Tran and met her during his tour in Vietnam as a soldier. He earned the rank of Major in the United States Army. After moving to Fort Worth, Frank worked at many companies and concluded with Citi Corp Financial as a Risk Analyst. Over 47 years of marriage, the couple welcomed 3 children into their home and Frank set about teaching them hard work and earning an education. His children remember him as a loving and driven father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Frank Joseph Lenart Jr. was accomplished at his education earning two Master’s Degrees and often portrayed his talent in every position he pursued. He was a dedicated individual who loved economics and who was passionate about setting aside time out of his busy schedule for quality time with his family. He was an active and dedicated member of his local community.
A visitation is scheduled for 1200 on January 5, 2020, at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield, VA. Following the visitation, his burial will be at Quantico National Cemetery at 1400 with military honors. A virtual broadcast will be held over zoom for the visitation and burial.
