William F. Graham, 64, a lifelong resident of Springfield, died at 9:35 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2006 at St. John’s Hospital. William was born on October 14, 1941 in Springfield, the son of Merle and Marjorie Nation Graham. He married Judith Heinen on December 7, 1961. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. He retired as a union carpenter and was a member of Carpenter’s Union Local 16. William was a great dad, a loving grandfather and had a great sense of humor. He was an avid golfer and Nascar fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Daniel Lornitis in 1998. He is survived by his wife, Judie of Springfield; one son, William (wife, Carol) Graham of Auburn; two daughters: Darlene Lowder and Connie Sue (husband, David) Norris both of Springfield; eight grandchildren: Justin Lowder, Michael Lowder, Melissa Lowder, Crystal Norris, Joseph Norris, Ryan Graham, Erin Graham and Tyler Graham; four brothers: John (wife, Grace) Lornitis of Kincaid, Bernie (wife, Debbie) Lornitis of Buffalo, Mike (wife, Debbie) Lornitis of Florida, and Donny Lornitis of Springfield; three sisters: Bridgette Johnson, Mary Lou (husband, Bob) Miller and Norma Jean Nettles all of Springfield; one aunt, Louise Braden and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family welcomes friends to visit from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at Real Life Church, 2450 Taylor Ave., Springfield with Rev. Clint Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery where military honors will be conducted.
