Sally J. Hahn, 61, of Nilwood, IL, died at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at St. John's Hospice. Sally was born December 15, 1946 in Springfield. She was the daughter of Mabel "Kay" and Joseph Zappia. She married Henry Hahn on December 14, 1968 in Springfield. She retired from the Department of Human Services as an administrative assistant. Sally enjoyed flowers, gardening, crocheting, painting, doll collecting and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Henry; three sons, David (wife, Julie) Hahn of Loveland, CO, Ralph (wife, Karen) Hahn of Springfield and Richard Browning of Terrell, TX; four grandsons; parents, Joseph and Mabel "Kay" Zappia of Springfield; brother, John (wife, Sheryl) Zappia of Springfield; and sister, Lisa (husband, David) Gaca of Peoria. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Private family ceremonies will be held and burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
