Rosemary Malay Robinson , 80, of Springfield, died at 11:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013 at St. John's Hospice. Rosemary was born March 12, 1933 in Dixon, the daughter of Paul Joseph and Mary Gorman Malay. She married Gordon Robinson who preceded her in death. Rosemary was a long-time member of St. Cabrini Catholic Church and Helping Hands. She also taught fourth grade for 17 years at St. Cabrini School. She loved to travel and visited Ireland 11 times. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by two sons, Lonnie (wife, Anna) Robinson of Danville, CA, and Bill (wife, Sharon) Robinson of Springfield; one daughter, Mary Kay (husband, Richard) Habel of Darnestown, MD; seven grandchildren, Tali Sigalus, Monica Raysberg, Dylan Robinson, Abigail Robinson, Joe Habel, Drew Habel, and Matt Habel; two brothers, John Malay of Springfield and James (wife, Elaine) Malay of Bloomington; brothers-in-law, Gary (wife, Sue) Robinson, and Art Olson; special friends, Bob & Marlyn Shaughnessy; and, 14 nieces and nephews. Cremation service was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at St. Cabrini Catholic Church, 1020 N.
