Rodney Horchem, 55, of New Berlin, passed away on February 12, 2022 at his residence. He was born on February 24, 1966 in Lincoln, Illinois to Larry Horchem and Georgia Gill Horchem. Rodney married Jackie Swann on June 19, 1993 in Lincoln and she survives.
Mr. Horchem is also survived by his children: Larkyn (partner Jeremiah Birdsell) Horchem of Ashland, Caleb (wife Sarah) Horchem of Brownsmills, New Jersey and Mellody Horchem of New Berlin, his mother Georgia Horchem of Lincoln, two brothers: Greg (Sara) Horchem of Lincoln and Scott (Amber) Horchem of Saybrook, Illinois and one sister Janet Kraus of Nixa, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Rod loved his wife and family first and foremost. He lived for his children. He also loved baseball card collecting and fishing.
Cremation rites were accorded. The family will host a memorial gathering on Thursday February 17, 2022 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street.
