He was born on August 10, 1963 in Pana, IL, the son of Denyle “Butch” Christian and Mary (Broux) Littrell.
Lonnie was a self-employed carpet layer. He was a volunteer with Helping Hands of Springfield. He loved football and was the captain of his high school football team at Southeast High School.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary and Henry Littrell of Springfield; 2 brothers, Timothy Christian of Taylorville, IL and Brian (wife Rae Anne) Littrell of Springfield; a sister Theresa Stokes of Ramsey, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his father Denyle “Butch” Christian; and a sister Tammy Christian.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield where a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm. Cremation rites were accorded.
