Larry C. Hollis

Auburn, IL- Larry C. Hollis, 73, of Auburn, formerly of Pleasant Plains, passed away at 12:49 am Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Carlinville Rehabilitation and Health Care following a lengthy illness caused by a fall.

Larry was born January 9, 1942 in Springfield to Vernon and Margaret (Clark) Hollis. He married Pauline Ladage, April 7, 2007 and she survives. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Paul, and infant daughter Lori and his children’s mother Linda.

In addition to his wife, he survived by his children; Greg, Mike Hollis, Scott (Shelly) Hollis and Tricia Hollis, seven grandchildren, three step-children; Lurina Shaw, Jeff Ladage and Kendra Castleman, and six step grandchildren.

Larry was the owner and operator of L&L Enterprises, a diesel engine repair shop for many years.

Honoring Larry’s request, cremation rites will be accorded by the Bisch Crematory. Private in-urnment will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
