Keith R. Johnson

Keith Reynolds Johnson, 64, of Springfield, passed away, on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. John’s Hospice. He was born on August 9, 1948 the son of Robert and Wynnette Johnson, who have both preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marilyn M. Johnson. They were wed on September 14, 1974. Also surviving is one daughter Audra M. Johnson of Springfield, and a brother Lloyd E. Johnson (wife Carol) of Wesley Chapel, FL. Keith was employed by Illinois Midland Railroad. He had worked for the railroad for 38 years, holding the current position of Supervisor of Revenue Accounting. He was a member of Cherry Hills Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, building, crossword puzzles, reading mystery novels, collecting paperweights, and trunks. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Bisch & Son Funeral Home, 505 E Allen St, Springfield IL 62703, from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, at 10 am, the family will receive guests from 9 am until the time of services. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Nelsen of Cherry Hills Baptist Church will conduct the services. Memorials in his name may be made to Cherry Hills Baptist Church.
