Frank L. Tremain

Frank L. Tremain, 78, of Springfield, passed away on December 20, 2022 at his residence. He was born on August 26, 1944 in Springfield to Leo Thomas Tremain and Myrtle Russell. Frank married Diana Wilkinson in Springfield in 1966 and she survives.

Mr. Tremain is also survived by his three sons: Frank (Melissa) Tremain Jr. of Lincoln and Jeff and Stephen Tremain both of Springfield, five grandchildren: Savahna, Steve, Bobby Jo, Travis and Abby, five great-grandchildren, one sister Sharon (Jack) Merz, two brothers: Jim (Ellen) Tremain and Randy (Kathy) Tremain and his mother Myrtle Tremain. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Richard Tremain.

Frank owned and operated Frank’s Autobody for over forty years. He enjoyed hunting, attending auctions, old cars and sprint car races.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday December 28, 2022 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street, with burial to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:30am until the time of service Wednesday at Bisch and Son.
