As a former colleague and long-time friend, I am beyond heartbroken. I am just now attempting to put into words what she truly meant to me.  We met in 1983, and shared many adventures together throughout the years.  That was the thing about Carol, she had so many loving friends, you couldn't know her with loving her humor and laughter. There are just too many memorable pictures taken over the years to pick from, so I am including just one from my favorites.   Deb, Leigh, Connie, myself, and Carol, commonly known as, "The Bags", shared love, joy, heartbreak, sickness, sorrow and loss, but never lost sight of how much we all loved Carol.  We lost our dear, sweet Deb to cancer in  2015. May they both rest in peace.

My condolences to Carol's immediate family.  I played pickleball with her on a regular basis.  Words fail in regard to her personality.  She was friendly, kind, witty, and very well informed.  I miss her smiling face more than words can express.  Go with God, my friend.

I was cherished to know Carol. She was my neighbor by the park and we would enjoy a friendly chat when she was out for her daily walks.
Our paths crossed again after several years when I played a little pickleball with her. She loved the game and was a friend to anyone there. I am so sorry to hear of Carol's passing and she will be missed on this Earth. Her smile was lovely.

Sorry to hear Carol has passed away.  I always enjoyed playing pickleball with her at Duncan Park.  I will miss her when I return in the spring. RIP CAROL

So shocked and completely heartbroken that she has passed.  It just doesn't even seem real. We were great friends for 23 years.  We met at the office and continued our friendship after she retired (this was my favorite photo taken the day she retired).  I will miss so many things about her, including her humor (she told the BEST stories and might be the funniest person I know and had so many great laughs over the years), she was  my biggest supporter and always in my corner,  she would do anything for anyone, and she was the most sentimental person I know who loved her friends and family deeply.  XOXO my friend!

She will always be my girl, and I’ll miss her everyday.

Sorry to hear of Carol’s passing.  I only knew her from morning pickleball at Duncan Park.  She was always pleasant and cheerful.  The world was a better place with her in it.

I worked with Carol many years ago and remember her gift with words and comedy and insight into people.  I remember her speaking in awe of her nephew, neice and family.  Though it has been many years and I live in another state, I can remember conversations like they were yesterday, mostly because they were so funny.  If you were a friend of Carol's who had frequent interactions with her, I am indeed jealous.  The gift of gab, the gift of humor  - not many out there like Carol.  She sent me this pic of her hamming it up with Jay.  She was so proud!  Love it so much and love Carol too.  My condolences to her friends and family.

Carol, still can't believe you're gone. Seems like yesterday we saw you at pball. Send us those new tips you've learned to improve our game, please! We'll miss you. Sally and Dan
