Lana F. Martin, age 62, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at her residence to join her Savior Jesus Christ. Lana was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Leaton Emanuel and Margaret Aileen (Lainhart) Martin.
Lana was devoted in faith and family, was a strong prayer warrior and will fondly be remembered for never missing out on the chance to sing her family members happy birthday on their special day. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her special friends Jenny Williams and the mailman Brian. Lana ultimately resided in Springboro but would always say, “I will always be a true Franklin Wildcat at heart. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat.” Lana also took great solace in being an aunt to the “pride and joys” of her life, her nieces and nephews. Lana was also an avid storyteller who never made it through the plot of the story that she was telling because she would be too tickled with laughter from her own humor.
Lana was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Martin; her half-sister Carolyn Sue Mason; her half-brothers Tony Lovelace, James Midford Lovelace; her nephew Eric Lovelace; her great-niece Shelby Lovelace and her dog, Layla. Lana is survived by her sisters Patti (Dave) Braden, Rhonda (Virgil) Powell; her nieces and nephews Cherie Smith, Carla Walls, Ron Walker, Tonya Davis, Dyan Daniels, Jon Lovelace, Chris Lovelace, Ryan Powell, Angie Powell, Aaron Braden, Andrea Braden; her great-nieces and nephews Pierce Finton, Sienna Finton, Madison Powell, Caleb Powell, Levi Powell, Jaiden Davis, Kainan Davis, Amira Armstrong, Maddox Braden, Calvin Braden; her sister-in-law Angela Lovelace.
A visitation for Lana will be held Tuesday January 23, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St. Franklin, Ohio 45066. Funeral Services are Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 12:00 at Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Jewell and Pastor Grover Bowling officiating. Burial will be held at Springboro Cemetery.
