Dean Miller

Roger Dean Miller, age 56, of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. Dean was born in Xenia, Ohio on August 21, 1967 to parents Roger and Rebecca Miller (McHenry), who survive him.

Dean is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Tina Miller (Kill); daughters, Hannah (Tyler) Nichols, and Jenna Miller (Ethan Post); grandsons, Levi and Lincoln Nichols; sisters, Rachelle (Mark) Van Auken, and Ginnie (Michael) Schuder; mother and father in law, Howard and Paula Kill; sister in law, Dana Kill; brother in law, David (Stacy) Lucas; and many nieces and nephews. He had many special friends, including his Friday morning men’s group.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Robyn Timerman (Miller); brother, Ricky Miller; and sister in law, Lisa Lucas (Kill).

Dean was a family man who loved supporting his daughters, and more than anything, loved being a grandpa. Dean was a very colorful dresser, making sure that everything matched, including his shoes. In his spare time he loved cars, watching sports - especially UNC basketball, and vacationing with family and friends. Dean was the owner and operator of Cleaner with Dean, a business he ran for over 20 years. He also started a non-profit called Big Smiles of Dayton that is aimed at bringing more smiles to children.

A visitation for Dean will take place on Sunday January 7, 2024 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Southbrook Christian Church, 9095 Washington Church Road, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Funeral service will be held on Monday January 8, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Church. Burial will take place at Springboro Cemetery.
