The indomitable BOBBIE! Mother and Grandmother extraordinaire. Queen of the shopping channels, she delighted in buying fun oddities for her family to open during holiday gatherings. A lover of bright colors and large costume jewelry, she left the house always looking like a million bucks. A born charmer, she never met a stranger, every person in the world, to her, was just a friend she had not yet met. She had a twinkle in her eye, a bawdy sense of humor, and was the life of every party.
Bobbie’s first priority was her family, but she also worked various accounting jobs, most recently at Monsey Park, retiring the last day of 2019.
Bobbie was born in New York to Sam and Anna Rosenblum and lived her entire life in the greater New York area.
Bobbie was predeceased by her husband Abram Schoenfeld and only sibling Alan Rosenblum.
Bobbie is survived by sons Steven Schoenfeld (Virginia), Jeffrey Schoenfeld and Adam Schoenfeld. Bobbie adored and was greatly loved by granddaughters Leah Schoenfeld (Stan Rosenberg) and Rachel Schoenfeld, and step-grandchildren Christian Milke, Miranda Milke (Ian Thorp) and Shane Milke. In addition, she had a wide circle of wonderful friends. Bobbie’s light will shine brightly in heaven and we will forever miss her beauty and joyful presence here.
The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to the staff at Artis at Chestnut Ridge for their tender and expert care of Bobbie during her final days.
