Dan Drucker

Dan was born on October 10, 1932, in New York, NY. He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, an experience he held close to his heart throughout his life. His service to his country was a source of immense pride and he was honored to have been a part of that chapter in history.

Dan was a man who loved life and embraced every moment with enthusiasm. He obtained his bachelor’s degree and later went on to own his own business in advertising sales and distribution. His professional life was marked by determination and a strong work ethic, but it was his zest for life outside of work that truly defined him.

He had a passion for science, computers and physics and was known to be ahead of his time in his knowledge of them. He owned one of the first computers ever made and was always reading up and exploring the possibilities of new scientific theories and physics phenomena. He used this knowledge in his love for astronomy. He was a passionate amateur astronomer involved with many astronomy organizations and never missed a chance to be at an astronomy event.

He loved golf and boxing. You could find him on the golf course every weekend and every chance he could get or watching a special pay-per-view boxing match on television.

Dan loved to travel, was an avid sailor, and dabbled in theater and film with a zeal for the arts. He was a writer and could put any words together on the spot coming up with an incredible poem or song.

Dan was known for his charismatic personality, always the first to arrive and the last to leave at any gathering. Whether it was a special function, a celebration, or a casual get-together; Dan was the life of the party always dressed to the nines and exuding energy and charm. His love for dancing was legendary and he could always be found on the dance floor captivating others with his moves.

Even as his health began to decline, Dan’s spirit remained unbroken. When he could no longer dance, he serenaded others with his beautiful singing voice, filling the room with joy and warmth.

Dan was deeply loved by his ex-wife, Francene Shulman, and their daughter, Brenda Drucker. He was a devoted and loving family man, with a wonderful sense of humor and an ear-to-ear smile which never faltered, even in his final days. He had a warm, kind, and caring heart and he believed in living each moment and life to the fullest.

Dan will be remembered not only for his many accomplishments but for his infectious personality, his warmth, and the love he shared with all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten and will live on in our hearts forever. ❤️

If there is ever a time when you feel you need him all you have to do is look up to the sky, as he will be dancing and singing amongst the stars. ⭐
