Willis “Bill” Perry, age 86, of Brooksville, Fl. died on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the HPH Hospice Care center in Brooksville. Bill was born on March 14, 1929, in Davin, West Virginia, to the late Cecil Herbert & Ella Mae (Cline) Perry. Bill is a 34 year resident of Brooksville coming from Plant City, FL. for 5 years, and originally coming to this area from California. A US Air Force Veteran of 5 years servicing mostly at MacDill AFB, in Tampa. Bill retired after 30 years with Rockwell International as a Supervisor in Aircraft manufacturing. After retiring, he became a licensed Real Estate Broker here in Hernando County, FL., and also went into private business. Bill loved Golfing, traveling & taking cruises with his wife, and his favorite hobby was completing crossword puzzles, and in fact, he was working one the last one just days before he died. He was Baptist by faith. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris and Nina Lou, and brothers, Jack and Orville “Bud”. Bill is lovingly survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce (Jones) Perry, of Brooksville, FL. daughter, Crystal Scott and her husband Neal Scott, of Deland, FL. grandson, Jeremiah Johnson and his wife Heather of Port Charlotte, FL. granddaughter Tanya Scott-Garcia of Deltona, FL. granddaughter, Chaille Scott, of Deland, FL. 5 great grandchildren, and also by brother Donald Ray Perry and his wife, Donna Perry of Bradenton, FL. and sisters; Evelyn Sabin and her husband Hiram Sabin, of Westminster, Ca. and Sandra Gentry and her husband Delmer, of Adrian, MI. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends is planned for Tuesday, June 30, 2015, from 12-1 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, Spring Hill Drive Chapel, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL. 34609. The Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM, with Pastor Raymond Rouse, of the Spring Hill Baptist Church officiating. A catered reception will follow the service at the funeral home. The arrangements and Cremation are entrusted to the Turner Funeral Homes.
