Norman "Corey" Davis

Corey was taken from us on Sunday, March 7, 2021. He was 32 years of age. Born to Norman H. Davis IV and Ivanhia d’Orgeix Davis on Wednesday, June 29, 1988, under the full moon at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, California. At the age of 16 months, his family relocated to Anna Marie Island, just south of Tampa Bay, then six months later to Spring Hill, where he attended grade school, graduating in the class of 2006 from Springstead High School. He studied Physical Therapy in Orlando, then returned to Anna Marie Island while gaining employment with Great Bay Distributors as an Assistant Liquor Sales Manager.

Corey was loved by everyone. He was an incredibly passionate disc golf player and was loved by so many in the disc golf community. Even at his job his accounts were not clients, they were indeed his friends. His friends were not just friends, they were family. He was the type of person you meet once and never forget. We will always remember him for that big smile, the loud laugh and the uncanny way he could make any situation more memorable. Corey’s eclectic and charismatic personality had the natural ability to make any and every day brighter. He was such a genuine and loving person, whose one-of-a-kind legacy will live on with us forever.

Corey is survived by his father, his sister Melissa, brother Inty M. Cubillo and wife Katie (Hicks), and their three daughters (Corey’s nieces) Alexis, Sydney and Bailey; and Nicole Jones, the love of his life.
