Michael J. Parsell

Mike was born on March 22, 1944 in Bayshore, New York to parents Edwin Parsell and Mildred (Acardy). Mike served in the Air Force for four years before serving in the reserves for 18+ years.

Mike loved muscle cars, especially his 64 1/2 Mustang, causing trouble with his best friend Leo Beni (and his wife Pat), and hosting family and friends for special gatherings. He was the pillar of his family, ready to help fix anyone's car, make pizzas for Friday dinner with friends and be the best Grandpa and Pop-Pop to his 5 grandkids.

Michael is survived by his wife of 52 years, JoAnn; his three kids and their families - son, Michael James Parsell Jr. (wife, Mary, sons, Joseph and Jake) and daughters Ann Marie St. Germain (husband, Peter, kids, Penelope and Sebastian) and daughter, Kristine Parks (husband, Sean and son, Jamison).

A visitation will be held from 4-8:00pm, Monday, August 28, 2023 at Merritt Funeral Home-Spring Hill, 4095 Mariner Blvd. Spring Hill, FL 34609, where Services will be held the following day at 11am, followed by military honors and burial at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102 Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
