Mary Mary Ann Ann Schaller Scheich

Mary Ann Scheich, age 83, of Spring Hill, Fl., died at the HPH Hospice Care Center, in Brooksville, on October 8, 2014, with her loving family at her side. A 27 year resident of Spring Hill coming from Rochester, Michigan. Born on November 20, 1930 to the late Emil and Mary (Krause) Schaller, in Detroit, MI. A very devout Catholic she was one of the original members of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, a founding member the St. Joan of Arc chapter of St. Vincent de Paul Society, and was a founding member and volunteer of the local St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift store in Spring Hill. Mary Ann was also a longtime member of the Spring Hill Michigan Club. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her brother, Al Schaller and brother-in-law, Bill Newsom. She is lovingly survived by her wonderful husband of 62 years, Don Scheich, of Spring Hill, Sons James Scheich and fiancée Margaret Kinard, of Shreveport, LA., and Bob Scheich of Golden, CO. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Jennifer Scheich, of Shreveport. LA., Jeff Scheich and his wife, Angela, of Shreveport. LA., Jamie Moore and her husband Justin, of Slidell, LA., and Steve Scheich and his wife Stacie, of Fort Collins, CO. Mary Ann is blessed with 4 great grandchildren, Mikayla, Gavin, Jaybrin, and Cora. Mary Ann also leaves behind her sister, Betty Newson of Hilton Head, SC., and sister-in-law Rosemary Schaller of Shelby Township, MI., Mary Ann’s family and friends will gather on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Turner Funeral Home, 13460 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL., from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, with a light refreshments gathering from 4-6 PM at the funeral home. A Wake Service will be held at 7 PM, with Fr. Henry Hemmerling officiating. The Rite of Christian Burial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 10 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 13485 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Fl., 34609. Fr Patrick Rebel will officiate. Burial will follow the committal service at the Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, FL.
