Linda L Stoots

Linda Lue Turpin Stoots, 73 passed away and went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 4, 2021 at her home in Brooksville, FL after a long courageous battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Linda was born on August 26, 1948 in Chicago Heights, IL and was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Turpin and Lucille Thompson Turpin.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who spent her life trying to make the lives of the people around her better. A mother to everyone she met, she helped anyone in need.

Linda is survived by her brothers Danny Turpin and his wife Sherry of Gary, IN, and Delbert (Tom) McKannan of Gillette WY; three sons, CWO5 Edward Allen Stoots, Jr. (USMC Retired) and his wife Teresa W. Stoots of Jacksonville, NC, Michael James Stoots and his wife Tabatha Stoots of Ravenna, NE, and Robert Lee Stoots and wife Melody of Ocala, FL; one daughter Patricia Lynn Stoots of Brooksville, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Ryan Stoots, Olivia Stoots, Matthew Collins, Shanna Stoots Lett (Clarence), Jamie Stoots Freeman, Michael Stoots, Jr., Kristina Stoots, Justin Stoots, Robert Stoots, Jr., Rachel Stoots, Rayne Stoots, Lorie Stoots, and Ann-Marie Stoots; seven great grandchildren Keelynn Freeman, Kinsley Freeman, Kyandre Lett, Kamryn Lett, Kaylani Lett, Lucas Stoots, and Brooklyn Stoots.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ed Stoots, and sister Eva Darty.
