My name is Dan Fick. John Bell was not only my brother-in-law (married to my sister Harriett), but one of my best friends. John was always there for me as well as all of his family and friends.
He and his buddy Jack rode the bus (John was kinda frugal) out to Texas and helped me move back to Florida. 
We used to go fishing (John and I would fish and Harriett would catch!) - he always had a boat and loved boating. He dreamt about building an electric powered boat, and we would drink a beer and talk about what it would take to build it.  
We worked together when he had AB Marine. John was a brilliant Mechanical /Electrical Engineer. 
John was a proud veteran and held various positions at the AMVETS Post 1 where we were both life members. We went to the State Convention in Orlando one year.
I knew John for 25+ years and I will miss him dearly!

I will forever miss my buddy.  My "Good morning handsome, good morning pretty lady".  His infectious laugh and smile.  His jokes.  He was a good man and I am blessed to have had him in my life

We loved sharing time with John and Mara whenever we could get out of Georgia for a few days. They cared so much for each other and it made us happy to see them together
