Beloved wife of Nicholas Gasparine (deceased) Daughter of John & Florence Rean (deceased). Beloved & Devoted Mother Michael (Mary) Gasparine, Theresa (John) Long, Ann Marie Gasparine, John (Nanci) Gasparine, Florence Cavalcante. Beloved Grandmother of 9, Great Grandmother of 10. Survived by Sisters, Jean, Joan, and Patricia. Sister of Daniel (deceased), Anne (deceased), & Alice (deceased). Born in Queens, NY, graduate of PS-1, Julia Richmond High School. Went to Central School for Practical Nursing, and graduated in 1946. She worked as a LPN for 39 years, on L.I.N.Y. She was a caring & compassionate Nurse & a devoted mother, raising her 5 children in Islip, N.Y. after the death of her husband in 1969. She retired to Spring Hill, Florida, in 1990, where she was a member of the YMCA for 25 years, & had many good friends. She attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She was devoted to her dogs, Buttons, Bonnie, & Coco. She enjoyed her gardening & loved to fish, crotchet, and doing crafts. She will be laid to rest at the Long Island National Cemetery, in Farmingdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hernando Pasco Hospice would be appreciated.
