Wendy Ann (Bouchard) Kuster, age 73, peacefully went to be with her beloved Jesus on September 25, 2024, in Spokane, WA. Born on November 15, 1950 in Wenatchee WA, Wendy was a beacon of kindness and love, cherished by everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Wendy graduated from Wenatchee High School before advancing her education at Wenatchee Valley College (where she met her beloved husband Gary) and Washington State University. She shared a prosperous career as a Mother, Grandmother, Housewife, Special Friend to so many, and Commercial Real Estate Broker which she passionately enjoyed alongside husband Gary.
Family was the cornerstone of her life, married 52 wonderful, remarkable years, Wendy is survived by her sweetheart and best friend, Gary; daughter, Julie Delaney (Shane); son, David Kuster (Amanda); grandsons, Hayden (Emily), Hudson, Austin, and Brock; great-granddaughter, Anya Joy; and sisters, Camille Murphy (Pat) and Carol Audette (Rene). She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Cyril Bouchard, and mother, Virginia Ruth Vandewater Bouchard.
Wendy attended Spokane Valley Assembly of God Church. Her faith was the major overriding cornerstone of her life, and she cherished the community and fellowship it provided. She could be often heard asking someone if; “They had made their reservation yet?”, then explaining what that meant.
An avid lover of the outdoors, especially any time the sun was shining. Wendy found great joy in having Gary drive her anywhere in her convertible "Miss Wendy". Capturing the beauty of God’s creation through the lens of her landscape and wildlife photography gave us all joy. Riding bicycles for a month, in younger years in Europe, and a major notable trip to Israel, where among her fondest and most cherished memories. Above all, Wendy loved nothing more than spending countless time with her family and friends, creating life long memories.
A Memorial Service and Luncheon Reception to honor Wendy's life will be held at Spokane Valley Assembly of God Church, located at 15618 E Broadway, Spokane Valley, WA, on October 19th 2024 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Spokane, WA or the Spokane Valley Assembly of God Church, honoring Wendy's compassionate spirit and lifelong dedication loving and helping everyone she met.
