Ellis, Stanley W. (Age 92) Passed away on August 6, 2011, in Spokane, WA. Born in Sturgis, SD on June 30, 1919, to Joseph and Berta Ellis. Stanley worked for Spokane School District for 30 years before retiring. He is survived by his children, Virginia (Victor) Fleming, Darrel (Leslie) Ellis and Joseph Ellis, all of Spokane, WA; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Fines of Spokane, WA, brother, George (Karen) Ellis of San Fernando, CA and sister, Josephine (Rich) Lang of Cathedral City, CA. Stanley was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Iva A. Ellis in 2000. Visitation on Friday, August 12, 2011, 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011, 11:00 A.M. at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home. Interment Fairmount Memorial Park.
