Nancy Kay Abrahamson Hightower

Nancy Hightower (age 54) passed away June 22, 2012, shortly after diagnosis with cancer. Nancy was born June 13, 1958, in Inglewood, CA, to Donald Holvik and Helen Florence (Jones) Abrahamson. She grew up in Manhattan Beach, CA, and graduated from High School in Santa Rosa, CA. Nancy moved to Spokane in 1993. She worked several years for Jensen Distribution Services. Nancy was a long time distributor for “Stampin’ Up!” and taught many stamping classes and workshops. She enjoyed working on family genealogy. Nancy was a member of South Hill Bible Church, and had participated in the praise and worship team there for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Whitney Hightower of Spokane; six siblings, David Eric Abrahamson of Panama City, FL, Marjory Ann Hart (Victor) of Redondo Beach, CA, Norman Paul Abrahamson (Karen) of Long Beach, CA, Martin Lynn Abrahamson (Linda) of Long Beach, CA, Pamela Jean Abrahamson of Redondo Beach, CA, John Phillip Abrahamson (Dagmar) of Strullendorf, Germany; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at South Hill Bible Church, 958 East 29th Ave. in Spokane.
